I have found the Accelerate conference to be a welcome support to the Church with a niche focus on confronting disablers of Church effectiveness. It encourages us to see layered systems in doing Church and has moved me to look closely at the moving parts in the eco-system of our operations to identify and address disablers. The good thing is that the diversity of local and international practices you hear, are good examples of what you can do in your church. During a recent visit to Jamaica, I had the privilege of being invited to the Pastors and Leaders Accelerate Conference, I was so impressed, encouraged and refreshed by the excellence and relevance of the presenters that I decided to continue my involvement when I arrived home here in the United States.
